Klara and the Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro

I read The Buried Giant by Ishiguru a few years ago — and while I'm sure it's a masterpiece, I struggled to connect with it.

Klara and the Sun, on the other hand, I connected to immediately. It was beautiful and bittersweet. I loved Ishiguru's defense of faith, particularly since it was told through the eyes of a robot.

This was another one of the best books I've read in a while.
